GENERAL QUESTIONS

MTVA offers minority language programmes for radio, as follows:

• 2 hours per day: Croatian, German, Romanian, Serb and Slovak
• 30 minutes per week: Armenian, Bulgarian, Greek, Polish, Ruthenian, Slovenian and Ukrainian

The ‘Rondó’ programme series reports on Armenian, Bulgarian, Greek, Polish, Ruthenian and Ukrainian issues, with excerpts in the respective languages. A further 30 minutes of broadcasting is offered to those of Roma ethnicity, in two different Romani dialects.

MTVA also provides television programmes aimed at Croatian, German, Romanian, Serb, Slovak and Slovenian speakers, which are broadcast twice weekly.

M1 also broadcasts English language news every day at 23:45.

Radio and TV recording facilities are also located in Szeged and Pécs.
